Quaint little bed and breakfast in the small town of Smithville. Wonderfully nice owners, very comfortable rooms and a nice breakfast. We stay here often when we visit family in town and are always happy to be at the Katy House.
Wonderful place to stay!! Stu and Linda are very accomdating and make an amazing breakfast. Our room (the conductor) was very clean and kept up nicely. Their dogs Hoss and Joe were very sweet. Highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in or around the area. They will not disappoint.
My husband and I had the pleasure of staying during Antique Week for Round Top. We have stayed at this B&B before, and absolutely love it. Linda was a wonderful host, and the home is fabulous. Love the decor and the peaceful environment. We ate at the pizza place downtown, which was wonderful. We also shopped at a few of the antique shops in downtown, with much success of finding some things for own home. Will stay again on our next visit to Smithville. This is a great option during Antique Week, as the south end of the shows are 25-30 minutes away. Thanks Linda for a great stay!

Stu and Linda, Katy House hosts/owners, went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay at the inn as well as our time in Smithvile and the surrounding areas. They know their history, and they made wonderful suggestions regarding points of interest. Breakfast was delicious and offered a nice variety of food options. We look forward to future visits to Katy House!!!
