First time to stay here and absolutely LOVED it! Very quiet and very clean! Breakfast was excellent as well! Yvette is one of the most caring and genuine people you will ever meet! Highly recommend!!

Ivette is a wonderful and gracious host.. The breakfast is superb and very filling. The rooms are beautifully decorated, clean and are quite comfortable. You will truly enjoy your stay. Highly recommended!!

If you want a slice of small town country life away from the hustle and bustle of the city, accompanied by a relaxing, quaint and peaceful place to stay with one wonderful Host, THIS is the place to go! The owner makes you feel so welcome and is such a joy to be around! We love Smithville Inn and will be returning as often as possible!

Yvette is both beautiful and hard working, what she has built here feels like home away from home. The perfect little place to relax and connect with new people. We will be back and we will tell the world about this quaint little bed and breakfast!

Worst experience we have ever had at a B&B. We stayed in the Deluxe Suite. When we walked in, we noticed crumbs and long hairs on the chair next to the door, and it just went down hill from there. The room faces a very busy highway, so we were kept awake by trucks, motorcycles, and boom cars well into the night. The white noise machine that was provided couldn't even dampen the street noise. There are no blinds, and the drapes are insufficient to keep out the street light and head lights. When the traffic finally quieted and we were about to fall asleep, we were awakened by slamming, stomping, and loud voices that kept us awake until after midnight. At 4 a.m. we were awakened by a train, and then again at 6 a.m. at which point, we just got up and left since we had been told that we would not be served breakfast at the inn and had discovered that both of the places we had been told we could eat were closed on Sunday mornings. If I could give this place zero stars, I would.
