I always love going into Mosaic to see what they've come up with! The store has a great selection of vintage, handmade, fine art, and furniture, and features the work of many local artists. If you're in Smithville, or even just driving through, do yourself a favor and set aside an hour to come in and browse!
Very unique, one of a kind items.
What a wonderful experience it is to visit the town of Smithville. The town is full of interesting shops and beautiful older homes. No tour is complete however, without a shopping spree in the most unique shop in town -- Mosaic Art & Home. It is contained in an historic building downtown. What makes the building unique is the flooring which is a colorful pattern of cut tile in non-sequential patterns. What makes the store unique are the owners and their beautiful collection of truly unique home decor pieces from talented artists who happen to be friends of theirs for the most part. We could only part ways with Jeri with what we could fit into our sedan, but we will return soon with our suburban soon! Thanks Jeri. Best wishes to you and your family.
